2002 Foals

We had a great foaling year! All healthy babes and easy births for the moms :o)
All the babes are settled into their nice new homes with the exception of
Tabatha and Peanut who are staying here at the farm :o)

Our boy Stripes also had a good year for other farms
with a bunch of colorful foals some of whom are pictured below.

The last to arrive this year was a little jack named
Forget-Me-Not Farm's Boy Named Sue, a.k.a. Gibson,
out of Colsan Half Pint and sired by Ross's Macduff.
He was born just after 8pm on November 16th.
He was just under 21" tall and weighed 20 pounds.

This tiny little jenny named Lady Macduff, a.k.a. Peanut,
out of Colsan Woods Lady Miah and sired by Ross's Macduff
was born a few minutes before midnight on October 3rd
weighing a mere 19 pounds and standing 20 inches at the withers :o)

At about 11:15pm on August 18th,
Mystique surprised us with this dark brown jenny named Tabatha :o)
When we checked her earlier that evening we knew Mystique
would foal early but we didn't expect a foal 4 hours later :o)

This little chestnut pinto colt,
born just after 10pm on July 13th,
out of Adalida sired by Johnny Cash
His name is "Ross's In A Flash"
After weaning, Flash will be moving to his new home in PA
Congratulations Christine :o)

The first to be born here was Mariya,
a dark gray jenny out of Moureen x Stripes on May 31st, 2002

Mariya and Moureen now live at Grande Finale Farm in NH

At about 7pm on August 25th, Milana gave birth at Grande Finale Farm
to this sweet little (20") jenny foal named Sweet P :o)
She is the last foal to be sired by Macintosh

Next to arrive on June 12th, was this jack foal
named Dylan out of Chiquita, sired by Stripes

He's about 8 hours old in this photo, and he's brown with just a hint of a star.

On April 28th this spotted jenny foal, named Holly, out of Vicki, sired by Stripes was born at Hidden Acres Farm

Also born at Hidden Acres Farm on May 19th was this spotted jack foal,
Highland Fling, out of Gretchen, sired by Stripes

This little red surprise named Navar was born June 2nd at
Green Mountain Miniature Donkeys
His dam is Beatrice and he's sired by Stripes

Also born at Green Mountain Miniature Donkeys on July 21st was this cute little
sorrel spotted jack named "Jack Dempsey"
He's out of PridenJoy's Sarah's Smile sired by Stripes
